Emily Cox
The Fairfax Resolves 2014 essay competition was won by Emily Cox, a student at W.T Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia. Ms. Cox went on to place 2nd in the State Essay Competition, and was recognized in February 2014 at the Virginia Society annual meeting in Richmond, Virginia. Emily received her Chapter awards and read her essay was entitled “Thomas Paine: His Tragedy and Triumph” at the March 2014 Chapter meeting at Falcons Landing.
Chapter President Bill Price presents Ms. Cox with the award for her winning essay
